Four areas of direct support for students in Romania.
Bicycle Access Program
We collect donated bicycles through church and community drives across New Jersey, picking them up ourselves and refurbishing them as needed. This year that added up to 150 bicycles, loaded into a shipping container and sent by freight to students in Romania who face real challenges reaching school due to distance or infrastructure. Alongside school access, bicycles support healthy activity and greater independence.

Educational Materials Program
We provide books, school supplies, and learning materials to support classroom and at-home education. This year we delivered 500+ English-language books, helping students build the vocabulary and confidence to read, write, and speak English. We're careful to send what schools actually need.

Online English Education
Pedals & Pages offers virtual English tutoring and mentoring for Romanian students. Instruction focuses on practical language skills, confidence, and long-term academic readiness.

U.S. Education Trip
Each year, top students from our English program earn a trip to the United States for a two-week immersive experience: real-world English practice, exposure to American university campuses, and a firsthand look at what pursuing higher education abroad could look like.
The trip launched in summer 2025 and ran again in summer 2026, bringing two students each year, four total.
