Pedals & Pages is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing bicycles, books, and English education to underserved students in Romania.
How We Help
Mobility for Education
We collect and donate bicycles to children who face barriers getting to school. Reliable transportation increases attendance, independence, and long-term educational outcomes, with added benefits like healthier activity and safer routes.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
We provide books and educational materials to support literacy and academic growth, ensuring students have the tools they need to learn.
English Education & Mentorship
We deliver volunteer-led online English instruction and mentoring, helping Romanian students build language skills that open academic and professional doors. Each year, our top students earn a trip to the United States for immersive language practice and a firsthand look at U.S. universities.
Why It Matters
For many students, distance and lack of resources limit access to education. A bicycle can mean the difference between attending school consistently or not at all. Books and language education strengthen long-term learning and opportunity.
